I have an Evo 9 and every time I step on it close to full boost(cars at 19-21psi) the service engine turns on. I'm sure it's not normal but any advise will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

 

stop doing it. it's a knock sensor / misfire warning. go get the car tuned / looked at

 

If the car is tuned on a tephra rom the check engine light flashes when knock is detected. Slow flash low knock count. Fast flash high knock count.

You should have someone log some pulls to see how much knock, and why.
