Whirring noise!?!!
Could use some serious help, I’ve had a whirring noise coming from the front end ever since changing out a few parts: MR Evo wheels + tires that came with them and fortune auto 500 coilovers. The whirring noise gets more audible as I accelerate, off throttle at higher speeds it’s also very audible. Neighborhood speeds I don’t hear anything. I’ve listened to t-case whines, but my sound is a lot more like metal on metal rubbing; best sound reference I can think of is a dust shield scraping noise (I don’t have any brake dust shields). Audio clip included below, hard to hear over test pipe but it’s a higher pitch whirring noise. Thanks in advance.
Things I’ve checked/replaced:
- passenger wheel bearing
- passenger axle
- t case fluid replaced to see if I had any bad metals in there (nothing)
- oem brake lines were initially hanging a little low, zip tied them higher
- alignment (x3)
- swapped tires/wheels with someone (noise still present)
- removed calipers and depressed each piston with ease + cleaned and greased the pins

I haven’t let it idle in 2nd or 3rd but I ran it in 2nd gear on a lift. And I was told the sound was loudest on the passenger side wheel. So they concluded wheel bearing and there was also slight play. But after having changed the wheel bearing no luck.
