Hey guys. I`ve been trying to read the rom from my evo8 and I get the same error everytime. I`ve even tried with the ecuunlocker and still no luck. So I checked some forums but nothing really helped. Then I decided to check if the tactrix 2.0 gets power from the car but it doesnt, even if the obd2 port has 12V. Then I checked the tactrix plug with a multimeter to see if the power CAN get to the plug but when I probed the grounding pins (4&5) and the 12V pin (pin 16) there was no connection between them somehow. I`m not the best in electrical things but I`d guess there should be some resistance but not infinite. Or am I wrong?
I`d love to have some advice as to what it can be or if just the tactrix plug is faulty.[16:16:41.174] sending init sequence 1 (F0F0)

im not sure about the 2.0... but with the 1.3, your battery has to be topped out.... as in full charge.

if its anything lower, it wont connect.

 

I read that on another forum so I had the battery charger on just in case that was the problem but no. Im starting to think I got a fake tactrix plug while I paid full price.
