Happy New Years! I have been chasing down a squeak / rattle for a few months and have had no luck finding it. I will post / attach a video so you can hear it. I have already replaced the serpentine belt tensioner and that did not fix the issue. The sound is most noticeable from the sides of the car and almost sounds like it's coming from the exhaust. I've checked for exhaust leaks and don't feel any. You can hardly hear the noise from the engine bay. Any help is appreciated with this issue!

You should get the car in the air and start looking / listening to stuff. With gloves on, start grabbing things ( that aren't spinning) and see if it effects the noise. Look for signs of rubbing, try and listen and track down the source.

If you think its a motor accessory, you can remove the belt and briefly run the motor and see if the sound is effected.

 

It was a loose rear motor mount bolt where it bolts to the subframe! I have torque solutions mounts and I guess it was the metal on metal noise I was here from it slightly moving.

I have been trying to figure this out for a long time now so I hope if anyone else has this noise it helps!
