Yeah the car will be tuned on the 6466 cause it has no tune on it from the last turbo.

Video is up. All of this as I said before is a mix of a few things. Obviously it was the fuse on the ign-1a fuse thing, bad gas, and the crank trigger being messed up along with a bad tune.

Well getting ready to go to the alignment and we had it on the scales.

5 gallons of fuel in the tank, with a full tank car will be 3050 with all fluids and full tank of pump gas.
So officially my car weighs with all fluids but no gas 2922 lbs, with full tank of 93 3017 lbs, with e85 3010 oh and i still need to put on my front center member which loses another 8.7 lbs so in total with 93 3008, and with e85 3001 lbs and this is with full interior still. I never thought id get it that light for a street car.

Well it is almost done. Pic from today, we installed my shifter and get the coolant all blead and made sure there wasn't any leaks. Shifter is up higher and I am thinking about lowering brackets for the seats but we will see. I am going to order a cable assy for my steering wheel from motion race works that will work great with my steering wheel.. I should have that in a few days. I also ordered a billet valve cover. I went with the Hypertune , and with the ign-1a coils I had to get a new bracket so I got this one from Brandon at Buschurs (shout out for ya dude) for hooking me up with a guy who makes brackets for the Hypertune valve covers.

Pics of the new bracket.

So I have some updates. I have been awake now for about 30 hrs straight and my tuner got a bunch of work done on my evo last nite. He got my suspension all locked up and strung, set preloads, reset ride height, restrung it after he did the 4 corner and noticed one side was 3mm off in the rear. So he fixed that put it back on the scales and re cornered it and all set to go to the alignment this am.

Well that didn't go as planned. He started the car it ran for about 30 seconds and died. Tried to restart and no start. He noticed on the IC-7 no fuel pressure. Great fuel pump dead in the water. He went in the Haltech and swapped over my secondary pump to primary and car fired right up. He let it idle for a few seconds and started to pull it off the rack and bam car died again.

Ok now starting to get pissed. Find out oil pressure was at 0 and the safety kicked in and killed the engine. Well long story short easy fix right? I have my oil pressure on my oil filter housing cause it was a late addition years ago and now it bites me. Find out he broke the sensor somehow due to vibration being on oil filter housing. Ok quick fix we had a spare sensor.

He takes the car for a short test drive to test the alignment out before it goes it to get fully aligned and gets back to the shop after driving it a mile or so up the road and car died yet again with 0 oil pressure. Sure as **** same thing happened. Ok got this we rigged up some spare parts and made a line that goes to the fire wall to fix that problem.

Ok so we are golden right? Wrong! on the way to the alignment he notices a weird noise but cannot pinpoint where its coming from. Great just what I need more broken stuff. Yep sure enough I have a wheel bearing going bad. Then when things cant get any worse they get it off the alignment rack and find out theres more then one. So now 4 new wheel bearings on the way.

All of this just so happens in the last 30 hrs or so. Ok so now for the good news right? Well there isn't any but I got pics for all of you to enjoy, so without further ado, thank you for reading my misfortune of the last 30 hrs or so.

Here is a pic of the car last nite or this am, nope this am 2:35am. Done with the alignment and setting rake

This pic is just after it was done at the alignment shop

This one is all cleaned up at the shop 20 mins after I hung up the phone with my tuner in the 30th hr.

And don't forget the sound clip of the car idling this am. They told me that I couldn't get my car to idle at 900 rpms on 2600s, let alone with Kelford 288s, let alone on pump gas. Well eat your ****ing heart out cause I made it happen listen to the car chop it sounds super nasty and I may keep it that way depending on how dyno stuff goes waiting for parts to arrive.

U and me both brother, it was so deflating to hear stuff still needs to be replaced. My tuner isn't a guy that's going to try to push things to make the shop money and it was like he felt so bad telling me cause he understood how long I've waited for yesterday. Specially when he is the only one who has worked on the car being he has an Evo and refuses to let anyone of the mechanics touch it.

consider yourself VERY lucky. I've dealt with several big name tuners/builders and f'ing noob techs cause a lot of the stressful problems. I really hate when they "find" they didnt/couldnt have caused the problem and fight me. when the day we figure out they caused it, there's no apology and I still pay for it. then we start all over again when new ones pop up. I dont have any issue paying for parts, I just hope the high and mighty builder attitude is dialed down and they be more diligent. nothing changes.

I get it bro, what pisses me off is they put all new ATP studs in my hubs. Why didn't they check and tell me my bearings were bad then? I kinda remember they started to make noise last time I drove it, but that was a year and a half ago.

as i said in other posts, "techs" today take pride in short cutting to beat the estimated time to service something. happened to me, luckily I had new hubs and studs at home. the ones on the car were barely a year old but some noob probably pulled it and destroyed it. i've done several tran and engine installs at home and nothing gets destroyed or goes missing. and theyre the "pros" and offended when i give them tips. i really hate them lol

Lol the guys at my shop aren't suppose to work on my car. The owner who does nothing the lead tech who basically doesn't do much and the tuner who owns an Evo and did all the work is allowed to work o it.. it's funny when I show up they all skatter if they work on the car. Just pisses me off they are suppose to do inspections before tuning and or anything else and nothing ever gets done. Now instead of enjoying the car being I should have gotten it back, now I have to wait for pumps and bearings.

yeah that sucks. during my last tune my rad blew up, they blamed it on me for "possibly not burping the system correctly". luckily i keep an old one. delivered it and installed(tech is annoyed I tried to help). thats when they tested and confirmed the headgasket was leaking. ***** i tell you. we've experienced so many issues already and they still default to me "definitely" causing it. they even put wrong "honda" sparkplugs for the tuning session and had to replace all my coils, MAP sensor, all the "usual suspects" but never doubted the sparkplug job. I had to discover it after the botched tune. i got plenty of these stories I just have no faith in ANY evo expert anymore

Well I wanted to let everyone know that the car is on the dyno and making jam. We have had a long few days now and we finally got the car running good. We had to fix my wg pressure we went down from 25 lb springs to 17 and the car is much happier now. We also killed an ign-1a coil and thankfully I have 2 extras.

So starting out at roughly 23 lbs with single digit timing moving up to a normal timing map or what it should look like car made 531/429 on pump gas. So after a few pulls and trying to lean the map out he took a lb of boost away got the afrs in the high 10s to 11.0 up top and at 22 lbs it's making 544/430. Needless to say we may go up another few lbs of boost or he said something about 32 max but this cars a monster so far.

Sorry so small hea working on the map still and hasn't made the graph larger yet. Idk if I'll make e85 tonite or not but shootout is in 2 days for me and I'm suppose to pick up the car later today being it's after midnite already.
