Thanks man I appreciate it. It is embarrassing to show this stuff but this stuff happens to us up here in the north. Salt, sand, mud and whatever cakes on the bottom and just destroys things. Myself I drove this car 10 years in the snow and salt before I decided to not drive in winters. The legs that I had to cut out and reweld metal in are way expensive and you can only get them overseas. Being I have an rs it doesn't help that there is no protection down there for anything. Idk if other year and models of cars had coatings on the underside, if not I would highly suggest doing it specially if you live in the cold region of the states. I am very thankful i was able to get to this before to much longer being I have a ton of money in this car and I didn't want to see it all go down the ****ter ya know.

As of today I was told gas tank is going back up and the rear end is going to get my restack of the Weir clutches and shims and then that will go back on. Idk if the front of the car has been put back together, I will find that out either later or tomorrow after I do my therapy. I know I have to take my JM fabs o rings for my intake manifold in so that can be put back on and together.

I think all of them suffer from this. Some more worse than others depending how it was kept and where it was driven over the years.

Horsepower techs. I wouldn't call them asking to have it done being they *****ed about doing mine the whole time. Best bet is to find a body shop to do it right.

Well I haven't had much to post about here in a while but I have something to post. My new steering wheel is in and maybe today the shifter and fluids will be put in and the car should start. I am looing for a option to put my buttons on a deutsch connector so it would be easy on and easy off and all in one. Motion raceworks makes a nice kit but I would have to modify it to possibly get it to work. Problem is its 175 bucks for a connector, bracket and some pins so idk. One button will be my anti lag and the other idk what I will use it for. I don't run no2 on the car so I can't use it for that. And with no gf anymore no eject-o seat needed lol. I ordered the 2 button being it was cheaper for whatever reason then the single button. Idk I am sure I will think of something.

As for the car it just needs fluid for the rear end, I am swapping out my trans fluid going back to Schaeffers 75w90 from 140, and new t case fluid which will be Motol 75w140 just like the rear end. All my new power steering cooler and oil cooler was moved to the front of the car and plumbed up, found my injector pigtails for my 2600s those will be wired in today I have 5 gallons of fresh 93 to work out all the kinks and get a 93 tune in and hopfully this thing will actually get tuned.

Funny pic

You know your cars been on the lift to long when it starts puking oil.

Using the unused space for oil and power steering coolers. Oh yeah can we say ac is back yay.

Oh yeah one more thing I also added a hypertune billet valve cover with side exit ports for my catch can. Hasn't arrived yet but it should be here soon.

Well as of 12:22 am on 7/30/25 I am happy to report my car has officially started and came back to life. Working on getting the vid to a format that the site likes so it will be soon. Added Kiggly 12-1 trigger and dbw with a 82mm TB to go with the setup and once we figured out where the trigger angle was car fired up 3 crank. I am really happy to hear it being I was so worried about what I was hoping it wasn't .

What we did find though was I blew out a fuse to my coils 2 of them weren't getting any power, a long with gas that was way watered down. Watered down so bad I couldn't get my lawnmower to run on it. That and my original crank setup was bent somehow and IDK how to explain it other then it wasn't right.

Will you have to retune it now that the crank trigger is different?
