Winston, Don't recall hearing that. I'll check with the wife.
In general the largest bike sold in Japan was a 400cc.

It warms my heart to know there are sensible folk on this board. Personally I wouldn't mind paying a few hundred dollars for a good driving course. In fact if there was a performance driving school anywhere in south florida I would go in a heartbeat. If anyone knows of one let me know. The closest I know of is I think Road Atlanta which is a bit too far to travel. I don't know if there is one in Sebring.

Of course 146 mph ... Wow he was really moving, wasn't he?

I max out my evo constantly. just because I can. Its not stupid. The autobahn is not stupid and the europeans have fewer accidents than in the U.S.

Speeding isnt stupid. But messing with the popo is.
I have no idea what the first part of your post is supposed to say. I do know the second part of your message says one of two things. Either you are very fortunate and get to do a lot of track time and enjoy your car OR you are stupid. Finally, the last part of your message which clearly says you are stupid. Speeding, in the context of maxing out your car, is always stupid when it's in an area under police jurisdiction. You just keep right on maxing out your car, which you'll no doubt do regardless, and with any luck either you will never kill someone else or by the time you do they will make vehicular homicide a capital crime as it should be.

Im not trying to be mean in any way- I have a legit question- im just curious...

if you lost your left leg- how do you drive your evo?

I'm guessing you obviously have a prosethetic. How hard was it to learn to drive stick with a prosthetic?

I just recently got a speeding ticket (clock @ 109 MPH) in my 89 CRX on HWY 99 near Stockton. My speedo was hitting the hard stop so I was actually going much faster. Anyway, the officer told me that he did not clock me until I hit the brakes. The officer was very nice. As a matter of fact, he was laughing because he was in disbelief. It happen at 3 am with no cars on the road as far as I could see so it was "safe". I accept my punishment which is $399 and 2 points on my record. My fault 100% and no excuses either.

all the State Troopers that i have seen are the most humorous officers i've met.... parish officers are dicks probably cause they know who i am and city cops.... i feel sorry for them...

i understand how stressful their jobs are and i try not to give them a hard time, but when i can mess with them, oh boy do i!!! like tonight, there was a city officer who was just staring my car down and followed me a little ways through the city... i had my tv on but i had a mp3 cd in.... whether he was seeing if i was watching a dvd or tv, or just wondering what kind of car i was driving is still questionable.... most officers don't know what kind of car it is, some think it's a regular lancer with some euro lights on it... either way i'm glad i got white!!

I wish I had the money, I was 17 and couldn't get a public defender. The burnout wasn't even a burnout, just a chirp from the tires as i shifted into reverse. Thats when I first learned that people suck.

That fast should be forfeiture of your vehicle. That's just flat out stupid.

sell ur car and get a scion u panzy. Try doing 140 in the evo and u'll change ur tune. 140 in the evo is equal to 80 in normal sedan. Totally stable if ur not a total jackass. I did 140 in my toyota matrix when i had it and even that was stable. The evo does 140 like it should be the speed limit in a school zone.

Justin Bell just outside of West Palm runs a school at Mosport. Corvettes.

They have one, two, or three day schools.

Darwinism at its best, folks.

Any idiot can go fast in a straight line or on most public highways. Now if you can figure out how to carry that speed through the turns, then I might have some respect left for you.

So what do you do when you're going 140 in a school zone and a kid runs out in front of you?

They'll love you in jail.

It'd be better to despise em in the electric chair, for hurting any child.

Don't worry I don't take anything the wrong way.. I've had the prosthetic for twenty three years and although i don't "feel" through it I can tell what's happening by the way the car responds. I don't "feel" the clutch... I "feel" the car.

That and twenty three years of experience. It didn't take long to learn either... I am a quick learner. Also having the doctor tell me I would never be able to do it just made me want to do it more.
