How to install the spark plug anti-foulers to remove the ses or cel light
this install was hard to find so i decided to write this up to make it easier to catch it on the search
this installation will remove your SES (service engine soon) light , or CEL (check engine light) that is caused when you install a test pipe (no cat) or high flow cat.
when this light comes on from your install of a new exhaust , be aware that this has no effect on the performance of your car. its just a stupid reminder that the o2 (oxygen) sensor is finding a problem caused when you removed or did something to the stock catalytic converter.
btw - i thought about going with an o2 simulator / eliminator , but the cost / install / problems associated with this fix. did not appeal to me.

ANYBODY: have any problems with this running rich or fowling spark plugs do a change in the air/fuel mixture?
The guy at the autoparts store said this, when I was buying my 42002s and figured I would ask it up to those that have been sitting on it for a while.OR long-term is this 100% good to go.

The anti foulers do not effect your air fuel themselves... you ONLY use them on your secondary O2 in, or next to the cat. If some fool put them in the O2 housing with the primary O2, you'd be crippling your car!!!
This is for use with an "off road" test pipe to keep it from throwing the CEL light, and nothing more!

well, my HFC is throwing a code. I have the helix hfc and it came on a day later. I am going to autozone today after work to have it checked out. After that I am gonna put the fouler in just to be safe.
do you guys have your cars lifted to put the foulers on or do you get under there one way or another?
