MrFred, you're an admitted picky guy. Why did you go with this mod instead of an aftermarket actuator (which you had NIB for a while)?

 

I started using it long ago on the stock turbo, and its a bit of a PITA to R&R an actuator when the turbo is on the car. This was much easier to install, and it's worked great, so I've stuck with it. The actuator I had in the garage for a while was a dual port (push/pull) version that I was considering using to try to tame the annoying boost-o-matic response of the stock Evo 9 turbo. Once I switched to the BBK, I didn't need it.
