How's the quality? Where do they source their filters from?

Finally finished the box mod!

Took some massaging of my Samco pipe. Had to cut an additional half inch or so off. As far as the butt dyno goes I picked up some throttle response but lost a little on the top end as compared to the foam Perrin filter I was using. I am not tuned yet so I am sure the loss will diminish once I am. Lastly the difference in vacuum cleaner ricer sounds is huge. Which is a good thing for me as I was getting a little tired (a.k.a. old ) of hearing the intake all the time. Thanks Speed Element! The filter kicks ***.... especially for the price.

I spy an UICP! Cops hassle you about that?

That UICP is a powder coated stocker!! Made the engine bay look a lot cleaner and it was cheap to boot. Cost me $70 for both pieces. Over the last almost five years of reading threads on this forum I have not gotten the idea that aftermarket UICP's make much if any power so the stockers are for me. Never had any cops hassle me to begin with so who knows what they might think if they pop the hood. I'm sure the new stealth box will help though.

Do you guys have any sort of bracket to secure the filter in the box so it doesn't flop around?

I installed my Perrin Intake and just kept the snorkle and the top part of the airbox on to have the air flow over the filter. Semi stealth and no work.

I could put pics up later, but its just the snorkle and the top of the airbox. Its sitting on the edge of my UICP and directs air over the filter. I used some 3mm Sticky tape to make sure the top part did not fall off onto my filter, like it did when I first put it on.
