The Gauge is maxed out only when there is power on. When the power is off it goes back to zero. It did this even before I ever hooked the signal wire up to it. After installing the sender as a replacement oil plug and hooked everything else....it didn;t change. I am baffled. The pressure guague I have hooked up just moves up like a mm when powered on...even with no signal going to it.....i'm guessing this is what the temp gauge should be doing....but it isn;t for some reason. I am trying to get ahold of 42 to see if they know of anything.

Well here is a pic of the finished product...notice how the oil temp gauge is on the right...completely pegged out....anyone know why? Everything is hooked up right.

Whatever happened with 42 Draft Designs working on an Evo package? Do they offer one now? I still think their product looks to be about perfect for what I want.

Yeah they are making it....they are actually making a fitting right now to make the oil pressure sender just screw into the existing hole next to the oil filter. They are sending me the piece to test it...then everything should be good to go. Their products are top notch!

What adapter do I need to get if I have an oil presure gauge already?

On a second thought, what about both the Oil Temp and Oil Presure gauge? What adatper do I need to get if I want to hook up both OilTemp and Oil Presure gauge?

TIA

For my own installation I'll use an AN-4 flare adapter and plumb with braided steel up to a mounting point on the firewall using one of these. For some reason that sender being down in the clutter around the filter would make me nervous. That's just me tho'...
I plan to use a steel braided line and mount the T and sender unit on the firewall, some other site say that with the engine vibration, the T will eventually fail and it would be nasty
