Replacing The Negative Battery Terminal Clamp - 2003 EVO 8
Anyone have any luck replacing a broken negative battery terminal clamp?
Mitsubishi doesn't sell them (you have to buy complete wiring harness) and there appears to be no slack in the cable to allow for use of a universal replacement clamp.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide!

can any of you guys give an update as to what you did, i need to replace mine and of course the wire is to short, I'm thinking of cutting the wire at the break and then just running some 4 gauge from the battery to that grounding bolt
Looking for the same answer. Just saw a few people talking about getting a "longer negative wire" here but no details:

So what I just did was get a NOCO P/N: TZ1290CS. It has the normal part that clamps to the terminal post and at the other end, it has a flat plate and a bolt. I cut off the broken end from the original clamp, drilled a hole in the flat part that remained, scuffed up the flat part on both sides, put the NOCO part through it and bolted it together. I added a lock washer too just in case.
I attached a pic of the part. HTH
I'll try and get a pic tomorrow of what it looks like on the car

Anyone figured out another option for replacing the negative battery terminal? I unfortunately cut the cable thinking a replacement at a auto parts store would be fine. But to no surprise Mitsubishi's great design team screwed me on that one too.Cable is too short with any replacement terminal.

I used a quick disconnect terminal for a while to solve this problem. The two piece design added enough length to allow for an easier connection to the neg terminal. The cable itself did eventually fail and was spliced and replaced.
