Lightbulb Engine Start button install

Check out my DIYed engine start button. I've mounted it inside the ciggy hole so no cutting or drilling required.

Yeah, unfortunately my old handbrake handle got damaged pretty badly by a soldering iron. That is the best I can find till I get a Momo handle.

Cool, I've done that before but the ashtray a quite shallow. Sort of limits the type of button I can mount inside.

You're right. It's a Lancer ES, judging by the light grey interior.

Also, where are the actually how to's here? A pic of the finished product is great, but if you're gonna post in how to, an explanation of HOW TO would be nice. Seriously, not be sound like a jerk, or anything.

Otherwise this should be in show and shine, buddy. I'd still like to see your walkthough, though.

I did it to my Integra because my starter & ignition were giving me fits. It's cute to show off, but really it isn't any more convenient.

For my car, I ran one positive and one negative from the starter into the interior of the car, then into a push-button I got from Radio Shack. Button goes in, connection completed, starter starts car. Mount and impress your friends!
