Question timing belt

whats the easiest way to install timing belt. i wanna just pull the whole motor out. 2005 mitsubishi evo8. so lets just say hypothetically someone get impatiant and slides the timing belt off the cams do they inturn jack up the tensioner?

you have to pull the passenger wheel off take off the shroud..take off the serp. take off the water pump pulley take off the full timing cover take off the crank pulley take out ur tensioner etc etc its alot of work!!!

yeah i've done that

its so anoying tho and the aftermarket o2 housing i have has nothing to bolt the braket back so i'm think about welding my own on there. ne ideas?

no offense but if your are asking basic questions i would leave the job to someone else. will cost less in the long run

no offense to you but he was asking what was the easiest way not step by step instructions and to see if what he was gonna do was harmfull to a part.
and to answer your question no it wont hurt the tensioner to pull the belt off the cams but it isnt useful to do so either it wont make the job any faster, of easier
