modded vs stock boost leak test help

I'm not saying anything about the bov leaking
I ment in the stock pictures above do I remove the stock intake thus removing the hoses from The bov and intercooler tubing and that's leaving hoses open??

No, you leave the BOV connected to the hose that runs between it and the UICP, and just remove the intake tube that connects between the turbo and the MAF/filter.
