bov fluttering

How do I tell i have bad Bov? I recently upgraded to 9 turbo, 1000 cc fuel injectors, aem e85 fuel pump and e85. I went from 15 lbs of boost to 30 lbs. I have a forge rs bov valve and I have tried adjusting it to different psi, still getting a loud fluttering sound at half throttle

did it flutter before with the same forge rs bov?

partial boost and stiff bov spring setting will cause fluttering.

u can do a boost leak to see if the bov is leaking.

I thought the RS was good for up to 23psi from looking at the specs last.

Yea they'll hold a shi t ton of boost, they just won't let it go and modulate it at part throttle very well.

+1 on getting oem style dv. Evos don't like aftermarket dv's.

Just something to think about, I've ran I to this in the past and have found that installing a vacuum check valve in the line from your manifold to the bov stopped the flutter of my turbo.
Make sure it's installed so that the intake takes a vacuum on the bov.
The "pills" in the stock lines are not enough to prevent the flutter. Good luck.

OEM 9 BOV is where it is at, if you're running more than 30 PSI though I would go with a TIAL, and if you're running more than 30 psi, you better be on speed density and not maf

I am running 30 psi right now so I think a tial is where its at.. my mechanic recommended going sd, but why is it a must after 30 psi? Just need more info on that

Wrong, wrong and wrong.

There are no "pills" in the recirc valve line, you're thinking of the boost control line.
A check valve in the recirc line would cause the valve to open under boost, you need pressure to the top of the valve to keep it closed under boost.
