Does anyone know if you need to remove the pinion gear from inside the diff to remove the old seal or any tips on how to remove the old seal? This is the seal in question https://stmtuned.com/collections/evo...ferential-seal it doesn't have a lip or anything to pry from the outside. I would like to replace the seal without disturbing the mesh, backlash, and preloads of the whole diff.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like its not well noted whether the pinion shaft nut has to come off?

I ended up only replacing the 2 axle seals and not the pinion shaft seal.
