So then what is the benefit of doing the combo? You get more power throughout the powerband rather than just uptop?

272/272 for high end power.

Actually I would say 272/264 is a better combo for drag racing as well as street driving. This combo allowed me to hold 330 AWHP (pump) from 6500 to 7500 RPMs where the 264's tapered off and the 272's didn't really INCREASE either (on other cars).

I like the bigger intake cam combo. After all, isn't that how the stock cams are?

I've heard from people that the bigger intake cam allows for alot more TQ and whatnot, but i've yet to see any dynocharts that actually compare all of this. My friend had the 264/272 cam combo and now hes upgraded to the 280/272 combo for his new turbo.

The 272/264 will give you a better torque curve making for better street and track driving with upgraded or stock turbo cars.

When it comes to drag racing only you want peak power and a quick shift once power drops off. when street driving or road racing the 264 exhaust duration with either the 272 or 264 intake cam will give you a longer torque curve.

I ordered my 264/264, AEM wideband and oil pressure gauge today. Once the cams are installed I’ll let you guys know what I think.

Thanks Greg (GSCMOTORSPORTS) excellent costumer service. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

I ordered mine yesterday......The guys at Logic Performance were top notch with the order and able to ship out USPS which is a big help to us military folk.....I'll let everyone know how the car runs with the 264/264 combo I got.....My other supporting mods are Helix 3'' dp, Helix 3'' cat-delete, HKS catback, HKS RS intake, RMR intercooler piping, 255 pump, and dynoflash......which is close to what the average guy has on his evo....Thanks for the time...
