IS there any thing that i can expect out of doing this e-flash now, before i start modding after i get overseas? Like, some part of the tune that will be worked specifically for high speed driving. Yes, i read where we are supposed to mail our driving stlye, but i don't want to bother Al if there is nothing that can really be done for a more or less stock car. Thanks a lot, good luck all of you.
The octane rating system is different in Europe. Someone correct me if Im wrong, but I believe the 93 octane over there is closer to 96 octane in US measure or something like that. Maybe I'm confusing it with Japan though.

Never got a call back from you. Havent even seen the read receipts from my PMs yet?

I know my friend has sent you a numerous emails about the problem with his map. I have looked at it, and can already see that its a valet map, but do not know if the timing tables and fuel tables change as well.

Please call me asap...and please check your PMs.

Id be more than happy to change all the RPM tables myself, but i dont want to be touching that if i dont know that the timing/fuel maps are even correct.

THank you

I wouldn't expect much in the next three days, if I remember correctly he's tuning cars at buschurs today and maybe tommorow. On top of that I'm sure he's got a lot of stuff going on at the shootout that he's invovled in. . . somewhere in there I'm sure he'll be racing and working on his car.

Thumbs down

I appreciate your perspective

This product is ment as a support for self tuners and tinkeres to have a greta map to start with in their tuning efforts

I priced it very resaonably to provide an excelent value

Frankly, I underestimated the amountg of time needed on each map to convert them from my hex editor to Ecu Flash format as the files are different sizes and I need to use stock ecus to transfer the data

I am working hard to satisfy demand even although as I have already exlpained I have been doing a lot of travel recently and also busting my *** to get my car ready for the big Wrx vs Evo race this weekend

I ask that people be patient

I am on the road to Ohio today and I will have lots of time over the next few days in my hotel room to sort out everyone's problems and get all back ordered maps delivered

Thanks for your support and business

Thats just ****in awsome i love waiting and gitting no answers and being lied 2!!!!!

Gentlemen

Things are not going very smoothly on my end

There has been a lerger than expected turn out for Dyno Tuning at Buschur combined with the fact that my Evo blew out a freeze plug today so i am up to my ears with work for the past two days

We have a huge meet and dyno contest going on tomrorow as well as the race on Sunday

Those who have no patience to wait till I have an opportunity to sit down with my three lap tops and make up these tuning maps please just send me a PM with your payment details and I will issue a immediate refund

Otherwise - just bear with me - I am a one man operation and there are only so many hours in the day. I will get to everyone.

Thanks

just ordered a Tactrix 1.3 cable online so I can take advantage of the e flash however what is the actual process by which you extract the ROM from the Evo computer? Is it recomended that people who don't have much experience with laptops and car tuning even attempt this? Are people having great success with this or is it still to new to tell yet? Bone stock 03 never been tuned.

Success is really a factor of a persons tuning experience (or your tuners) and not so much the cable, the cable itself is just a tool. The tool itself does work well, and because of the nature of how it works, even if you did get a bad flash, the odds are pretty good you can recover an ECU with a bad flash.

If your not 100% comfortable with the software (all you want to do is download your rom, and upload a new one) then ask a friend familiar with computers to help, but its really not very difficult to get the flash on and off the ECU.
