gsrboi has a point. I didn't cry because it's taking too long, and I didn't bash him. The fact is we've been told multiple times it's done and on it's way, the money was quickly taken, and yet there's nothing to show for it. Short of some family emergency in which case I'd gladly eat my words and apologize, I'm not going to be understanding anymore. There's no doubt he knows what he's doing and damn good at it. I'd still love to have this flash tonight, but I'm not holding my breath.

And this delay was not for everyone of his customers nor for everyone of his products. Plus you guys are going to give him the same money anyways. So this delay may have cost him a few customers @$50/pop. Not breaking the bank.
That is perfectly ok (I guess) if you have a globally recognizable corporation, but we are talking about small business here, where the only real thing you have to go on is your reputation, even if you do provide a semi unique product/service.

Frankly, if Al had said that this process would have taken a month or whatever, I would have no problems, and patiently waited and I understand that one hour turnaround is a little unrealistic, and I never expected to get it in one hour, but to not deliver on multiple statements.....

I dont even think this thread belongs here. This should be moved to the Dynoflash forums since these discussions have nothing to do with the ECUFlash software.

You guys that are disappointed should just rate the vendor and then write a review about the service in the vendor review forums.

If you would like a refund I have no problem to give you back yourt money - just PM me your real name and payment details

I am not sure who is who as far as screen names and real names - however - 99% of E FLASH ! orders have been delivered

There are a few that I am taking extra time on as I wanted to test them in similar cars to verify the tune

I am trying to get to a point where all orders are delivered same day

I just sent you a revised map

I tried the other map on two cars and it would not duplicate a similar valet effect

If the map I just sent you is doing the same thing then you can some by and I will personally set it up for you when I visit Chicago next month

I appoligize for the delay getting you the revised map - hope it meets your expectation

I figured that meant I'd be able to get mine fairly quickly. I have to have this done tonight or I'm stuck winging it myself or sticking with the SAFC, neither of which is going to do me much good. I realize he's busy and backed up, but it's not fair to tell people to expect it multiple times and not produce it or at least a quick courtesy email.
When you make a mistake in inital ordering it throws a giant money wrench in the works but I will sort it all out

Please send me a PM with your real name and email = then remail me your list of mods and original map - I will have your map over within one hour

Thanks

Same as above - send me a PM with your real name and email

Then re-send your original map and list of mods - I will have you and the other guy's map within the hour

For those waiting a month I agree with griping with Al. Maybe not in 15 posts, but I agree with you none the less. Al should put you on top of his list because you can't use your evo for what it was made for. For those waiting a week or two, settle down. You are getting something that previously took this long anyways, except you couldn't drive your car while waiting. I have waited that long for more expensive mods I bought from other members here (which is much riskier) without sending one PM or posting such and such has not sent me my part and don't buy from him. Quit bashing him before he no longer offers this service at all.

Al,
Let us know when you can do that package and for how much. Thanks.
Thanks for your time

I agree with much of what you said

I want to stress that every EVO customer is very valued to me

I am trying my best to keep up with demand and that means that each and every ecu that gets here by fed ex every day MUST go out - period and they have for nearly three years

Also - we have people showing up on the dyno every day and sometimes they can take hours

Further - I travel like crazy

These E FLASH!'s have taken me by total storm as my original reflash format is super easy to send out base maps

The E FLASH! has actually taken me more time than expected to process each map with about an hour as the average

The problem has arisen in keeping track of emails when there is no physical ECU to handle and see in my face

Exepecially when I have to have a back and forth dialouge with the customer regarding specifics it has proven a challenge to keep track of who is who

I am commited to providing this service to the evo m members and I am going to institiute a better order tracking procedure to better track the E FLASH ! orders to assure that none slip through the cracks going forward

Those who have been delayed - I appologize and will work to get a map in your hands as soon as possible

Those who are posting compaints here - instead - send me a EMAIL to info@dynoflash.com and remind me you did not get your map - send a copy of your original map and list of mods that will make it very easy to get your map out without a huge research process to figure out which evo m name is who

I get about 75 - 100 emails and PM's a day so looking back a week or two is a nightmare

AL

Guys Al deserves an applause, his work is great as we all know, seems like everybody is getting their flashes VERY promptly now that the little bugs of his are out of the way. Seems like his business is back! Just be patient
