I am not posting for you

I am posting for the 100 idiots who will read your comment and not understand what that means and think there is some problem

Also - to clarify

With the adjustable fuel pressure regulator you have the static fuel pressure must sometimes be moved up or down

Best of luck

I know, the FPR is probably coming off anyway. Thank you for clarifying. To all the dumb newbies ignore my previous overly descriptive post. I did get exactly what I payed for. My entire setup is geared toward a 50 trim that I'm machining an adaptor plate at work for so most of it is overkill for now.

I just sent you a revised map

I tried the other map on two cars and it would not duplicate a similar valet effect

If the map I just sent you is doing the same thing then you can some by and I will personally set it up for you when I visit Chicago next month

I appoligize for the delay getting you the revised map - hope it meets your expectation
Well, I guess we'll see you next month then. THe injectors are scaled to 513, which is exactly what stock is. THere are 680s in the car. Turned on the car, and its bogging like hell and wreaks like fuel. I just PMd you...please call asap.

THank you

Hey Al,

The revised map you just sent me still DOES NOT WORK!!

This is what is wrong: open loop throttle is the same as stock
INJECTOR BATTERY VOLTAGE SAME AS STOCK
maf scaling is off
still shows 513 injector scaling (same a stock)

If anyone else would like to help me fix my map please do!! This is the secong one Al has sent me and it is still wrong! Car smells of gas and oil is spraying out of exhaust, car WILL NOT IDLE, bogs at 2500 rpm (will not go over that), SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!!...

Im really getting tired of having all of these problems, I just want my car to run with a good map, please someone I need your help!!!

If you have oil coming out of your exhaust you have much bigger problems. That would have nothing to do with the tune. Blown rings, bad turbo seal, leaking valve seals etc. Is it literally oil?

^Thanks for the concern... but none of the above. The car does not even idle with the new flash in it. Its basically this... the car pulled in fine.... the eflash was flashed...car runs like ****. End of story.

Yes, there was oil, but he already knew that.

What kind of injector scaling is everyone else running with anything larger than stock inj? Also, the car bogs at 2500 rpms. Ive never see a car do that unless it was getting demolished with too much fuel in the motor.

Anyone else have any ideas...cause i am deffinetaly out.

This is *EXACTLY* why there's a large emphasis on YOUR car being tuned ON THE DYNO, with the TUNER in COMPLETE CONTROL of the situation... you get what you pay for first off and if you aren't able to do your own fine tuning and problem analysis/correction, this solution is NOT for you.

I don't have an EVO yet, but i'm a long time subaru performance enthusiast as well as hondas and dsms back in the day, I agree when the individual has the PROPER equipment (wideband/egt/datalogging software/means to edit the map) and an understanding of what to change to make it applicable to his/her car based off the data collected from above, something like this will work

but, the reality is, most people just want to pay a small fee for a free tune, flash it and go run 11s.... doesn't work that way

It seems to me if things aren't right, you should be collecting data and having these conversations directly w/ Al, not crapping up the forum saying he sucks.

From what ive read Al does not make changes to the injector scaling, he makes the adjustments from the fuel table.

I could not agree with you more. That is why I got my car custom tuned on the dyno for two whole hours by someone who knows what he is doing. Since then I have been learning how to tweak the maps on my own. But the base map was solid to begin with.

The Ecuflash software and cable is a wonderful tool in the hands of those who know what they are doing, but it is a dangerous tool in the hands of those who do not.

Well, I must say that even though I was disapointed with the time it took t get my maps from AL, WOW what a difference!!! I would have to say that the first time I spooled it up, the two weeks that it took to get the maps was not even on my mind. Great job on these things AL, we just need to figure out a way to clone you
