not to sure about that becasue i went after the track to a hill and was in 5th and did the slip test and it was fine.

That's boost cut, not your boost limit.

Why is this thread in the ECUflash forum? Shouldn't this be in the dynoflash forum?

Becuase I am offering base calibrations customized for individual modification configurations using ECU FLASH softwear for $49.99 each and I decided to post it here as this is where information on ECU FLASH tuning is located

ALSO - becuase I am hoping that this thread may spark some do it yourself tuning discussions and questions such as how to install ecu flash or what ever which may be totally unrelated to the Dyno Flash section

Thanks

I don't recall if you got your wideband in there.. But I'm certain if you logged the data that is what you'd see..
Generally I see about 20 - 25 whp gains accross the board with these E FLASH! maps

While 20 - 25 whp is a nice quick step up in power - I would say that driver skill and day to day track and cliamtic conditions would make up for a larger variable

In some cases cars that I see do have persisiatnt mechanical or boost issues which remain undiagnosed and which result in poor performance which is often confused with the flash

A proper boost leak test goes a long way to trouble shooting evos

If the customer can get his car to me it would be easy for me to identify the problem (s)

On a stock car, with the settings I have delivered you should run about 19 - 20 psi in 4th gear peak boost and it should hold there and slowly taper to about 17 - 18 at red line

DISREGARD the decimal figures assigned by the creators of ECU FLASH as to what your actual boost target is and how the softwear is set up

Remember the original ecu calibration file is in hexcidecimal and the creators of ECU FLASH - (who did an amazing job BTW) are in many cases assigning random numbers to what is reflacted in your screen

Please try the map IN your car and report back what the actual boost you are seeing is

Thanks

Al

I've sent you my stock rom and list of mods twice now Al. I need to get my flash. I'm getting jealous hearing about people getting their flashes.

I don't want to be left out and not have any fun!
