ahhh he's holdin' out the price on us!!! hahaha. seriously nice though, you should also consider making or suggesting a mounting solution for the radio (elsewhere) for people that want to run the max number of gauges possible. like in the glove box or the cut holders etc.
I cannot post the price at this time, since I am still not an authorized vendor. I will sign up as a vendor as soon as the guages are ready. I am working as quick as I can, so you should expect to hear more soon. I will say that price will be less than the CH panel, but more than the RMR c/f steering column pod.
As far as the panel being too low on the dash, I think that depends on your personal preferences and needs. I wanted to use a mounting location that would be a little more low key and not visible to other vehicles around you. I have used my gauges in this panel for a few months, and I have yet to have any problems with it being too low.
If you are hard core enough to have the need to watch your gauges that often, then having the gauges above the dash or on the steering column may be the answer for you. I can make just about anything you want, so a dash panel could be done. Something similar to the one the WRX/STI guys use would be cool, only I would prefer it to be less goofy looking.
