For the purposes of this discussion ignore the rear (cause its a different offset). The front is a 18x9.5 et25mm with a 275. 245 is gonna be an inch narrower tread on a wheel 1/2 narrower.

the drop would be 1.5 up front and 3/4" to a full 1" on the rear.

Run 1.0* (factory) to start in the back and see what happens. If it is no more than 1.5* (factory max preferred) you should be all good.

Everything else being equal (because even at the same width and offset some things vary):

My 18x9.5 et35 (rear wheels) would have theoretically (9.5/2) + (35/25.4)= 6.128 backspacing. They are actually listed at 6.6" (or 3" from hub to fender). I have about 5/8 to 3/4" space at 1.9* camber between the tire and the fender (it is rolled and pulled)

18x9 et 22 = (9/2) + (22/25.4) = 5.36". I think this would actually be closer to 5.8 or 5.9 looking at other wheels with similar specs that I sell (et25 18x9.5 are 6.2). This would be 3.1 to 3.2" hub to fender. Your car wont be as dropped as low as mine in the back, so it should be good. Never know till you try it though, I would suggest budgeting a fender roll just in case.

Ok, I plan on running coilovers so i can adjust the suspension height and i wanna run 18x9.5 volk te37 et12 with a 255/35/18 tire now as long as i can play with the height of the car i wont have to roll the fenders right?? and what this you have to have wider fenders? i have seen plenty of evos with this size wheel and running stock fenders with no problems...thanks

Bobby

wrong wrong and wrong... for one you don't see many evos running +22 or +12 without fender rolling... playing with the height doesn't matter cuz when you get full compression you'll hit something.

hwat you want the coilovers for is to be able to adjust camber so you can tuck it in there. but that looks stupid anyway, why would you want wheels that slam to the edge if you're gonna tuck them in with so much camber that they're not slammed to the edge anymore.

don't be lame... roll the damn fenders.

you know i really don't understand why people want this aggressive look on their car but aren't willing to do the work necessary... you're already spending how much on the uber jdm wheels? why not just roll or shave the rears the right way? you're messing up the whole look by trying to squeeze them in with your car high too much camber so your wheel is pointing 45 degrees inward.

the only concession i'll make to this mentality is you can run a skinnier tire and get away wtih less fender work... this guy is running 245s on a 9.5 which squishes the profile of the tire and also makes an angle to the contact patch that will help you dodge the fenders.

I think you are going for the classic low rider look, with the rim sticking way outside of the car. If this is the case, then you'll get some kind of contact on poor roads. I hope you are aware that this type of setup, would not improve the handling of your car.

no no man....its called keeping it flush, if your not flush your not tough! hahaha

there is a difference between the low rider look and keeping things flush. Trust me.

So, Will CE28n 18x9.5 +35 offset fit the front OK? with 255/35-18 tires
i know they will fit the back OK, but most here talk about +22 and +28 fronts.

Thanks

huh? the back is what you're concerned about... they will not clear the back ok... you need to shave the rears. the fronts are never gonna be an issue until you start running stuff like the buschur time attack car.

that said... it really depends on your setup... how low and how much camber. with 255 stretched across the 9.5 you have more leeway but you never know until you know right? fear not the fender work... you only have to do it once.

JBIGELOW had 18x9.5 le28 with front +28/ rear +34 and no rubbing using 255/35 18".
So, from his post i am guessing my +35 rear should be OK, but fronts i am not sure of.
I dont want to use a spacer or have them rub when i turn the steering wheel all the way.

You might have a problem clearing the stock suspension/spring perches.
