Hey guys, just a quick Q - although these wheels look awesome, how does it actually drive with the wider track? I am thinking about getting some 5zigen 18x9.5 with 255/35s and wondering how it actually feels on the street. Is it a ***** to turn with track that wide or does it feel similar to stock? What about the handling, is it better?

The whole idea behind wider wheels is better handling & more grip. The only drawbacks in daily use are that the car will be more twitchy (especially on grooved asphalt freeways), and depending on the tires it will hydroplane easier.

Cool thats what I thought, thanks. Going to get the 5zigens for street and use the stocko rims for some track semis.

Sure do on my daily driver Evo, running with Muellerized Moton clubsports.

We do not cut on the rear fenders to make em fit, just fender rolling and a little creative porta powering.

not gonna happen....just take your time rolling them and you'll be fine, 265's aren't even that wide anyway

What size tires do you run on those 17x9.5 GN+? Any significant rubbing?
