Since no one is answering my thread on this issues, maybe I can include it in this one. I have the upgraded Infinity sound system with the sub, and just put in an aftermarket Kenwood unit so that I can plug my iPod in directly. Has anyone else run into a problem with hooking an aftermarket head unit to the factory amp that powers the sub? I was told that I either need a custom wiring harness to still use the factory amp or need a new amp. Right now the sub in unplugged and I am not very happy about that. But I want to make sure the shop I used isn't trying to milk me either. Thanks.
