How to clean stained bumper

I found this product that cleans the residue on bumpers from exhaust fumes. The product is Liquid Glass Prep Cleaner. All you have to do is put a little on a cloth and it rubs right off. I have a Apex Silver Evo and the bumper gets extremely black. I purchased it at Pep Boys for around $10. Now I don't have to buy one of those carbon fiber pieces for the bumper. Hope this helps!

I am not sure about goof off It may remove the clear coat. That stuff is very strong and very hard on the surface.

Any non abrasive pre wax cleaner will work. I would use a high end product like Pinnacle paintwork cleansing lotion or P21s paintwork cleanser. Always follow up with a good wax when you strip the paint. If the surface is well waxed it should come off with a spray detailer just spray and wipe a few times per week.

Clay bars dont hurt your clear coat. Thay work great on the body, windows, and the lights on the car. Takes off whatever is on the surface. I use them at the body shop all the time...

i've used any non-abrasive wax to remove the excessive build up....never had a problem...you might need to repeat the process the greater the buildup......
