What is a good after-wash spray wax to use? Something that can be picked up at a local auto store? I just finished claying and waxing on Monday, but I'm gonna need to wash it already and I want to keep this shine as long as possible. Thanks!

Mitch, pretty sure of the awnser. Do you like meguires tech wax? or their tech wash? I use both and clay with Clay Magic (I can get this all local in MI) I do need to polish my evo and the wifes car (black) I have a Porter cable orbital I bought a long time ago. What is the purpose of a sealer and Wax. I have never heard of a sealer........

NXT Wash and Wax are great otc(over the counter) products. The wash has some pretty strong detergents, so it will wear down you waxes faster. NXT Wax also does not last too long, but looks good while it's on. Sealant is just stronger protection for the paint, like a wax.

here's some pics of my car before and after. thanks again for the great write-up. i didn't go to crazy with the buffer since it's my first time using it, so some of the really deep scratches are still still there.
