GREAT write-up! What're your thoughts on the water blade? Granted, everytime I swipe I spray it down a with a hose to get off any grit and grime (to prevent scratches.) I think it facilitates the drying process immensly!

after I've read the write ups I have a question.
1.do you guys wax/poilish the CF part on the spoiler?
2.Coz I just bought the step 1-3 meguiars for paint detailing. Is it enough?
3.what's the difference between waxing and polishing?which one goes first?
4.I wash and wax my car twice a week & I go to a car wash to do it.I do it manually. Is it bad?
5.What do you think about Zymol car wax?Have you guys tried it?

On its own, I use it for windows only...let's just say I had a bad experience with it on bare paint even with having it completely clean...the edges of the blade have a propensity to scrape, I dunno why.

Now with a Microfiber, I have it wrapped around the blade and that works REALLY well...leaves almost no water behind .

1.Yes...CF is clear coated
2.It's enough if you're nto looking for concours results...great for OTC stuff.
3.Polishing prepares a paint surface, waxing protects it.
4.Don't go through tunnel washes...you'll see why when I actually get pics up.
5.Zymol is excellent stuff if we're talkign their Estate Glazes...the cleaner wax you see at Pepboy's is nothing special at all.

Isn't almost bad for your paints surface to wash it TOO much? I make sure I only wash it at most once a week even though I'm itching to give it another full wash. Instead, I give the car a full dusting with the duster almost everyday. As long as your gentle with it, it wont drag dirt particles and scratch your paint.

I have over 5K worth of supplies in total, counting my microfiber, machines (buffers and wet vac), and pads.

Just waxes, I have about $300, polishes about $400, glazes about $100, the list goes on.
