Just as a quick note...I'm pretty sure my California Duster is causing some slight streaking. Due to the fact that you are pretty much dragging dirt and grime across the paint surface without any lubrication. Some people swear by it (I was one,) but now it seems to be doing more harm than good. I'll be saving my duster for the interior only.

Acid etching is going to require polishing, just as if you wnated to de-swirl the car.

Thanks for doing this Mitch!!!

I still kinda need to know what you would do for a brand new tarmac black evo that is swirled to **** from the dealer and still hasnt had the gunk from the vinyl removed yet and its dirty on top of that.

From what I gather I need to:

1. Wash the car w/ Meguiars Gold Class...using microfiber mitts (what brand and from where to get it???), two buckets

2. Dry the car off with Waffle weave towel

3. Detoxify the paint with ???

4. Use a cleaner to clean the paint...dunno which one??

5. Wax with Poorboy's World Nattys Blue Paste?? Klasse??

6. Remove wax with what kind of microfiber???

7. Sealent???

---end there for the exterior?? i dont have a orbital....

-is griots garage leather cleaner good for the IX seats?? dunno whats good on the dash and on plastic parts either....

seriously i need help bad......rofl

Yeah, go ahead and include drinking in between steps 4 and 5 too .

You'll notice alot more gloss with the hand polishes and glazes.

Also people PM me about products if you need them...I have way too many and need to clear out my detailing cabinets a little bit.

I've got Optimum Polish/Compound/Hyper Compound, Poorboy's SSR 2, 2.5, 3, Polish w/Carnuba, lots fo different waxes, etc...

The other reason is because I have two of most of these items .
