Haha nah, it'd be too hard for them to follow such a procedure and use such products; it'd cut into their profits, which is all that most "detail" shops are after...****ing hack jobs...

A note from a fellow detailer....our Black Tarmac sucks that blue flake needs to go!!! Why couldn't we get a deep black from Toyota or Nissan??

It's good to see a plethora of Pinnacle and Poorboy's products they are my favorite.

sweet! how about a polish, sealant(is glaze the same or where does that come in?), and wax combo that will last for a while since i have no garage available and the car is outside 24-7. for graphite grey with a PC 7424. do you apply all with the PC and remove by hand? also, clay bar should be the first step following washing/drying right? thanks.

mitch, any opinion on this? also, can anyone explain to me the difference between polish and glaze? all the descriptions i read seem to be similar, to remove swirl marks/oxidation. is it neccessary to use both?

Polishes actually remove swirls, while glazes add gloss and depth; there are some exceptions like Meguiar's #80, where they call it "speed glaze", but it actually has abrasives in it.

Klasse AIO is a good base product and chemical cleaner.

so for a PC 7424, what pads do you reccommend for 1.polish, 2.glaze, 3.sealant, and 4.wax?
