I have a Perrin one, it looks way better than the s2000 antenna, while I admit radio reception could be better I have no complaints...

Its completely smooth top to bottom.

S2000 has a "top cap" and a groove towards the bottom.

I just had to find a stud to connect the antenna but it wasn't hard cuz I just made one.

i have a 4" perrin antenna, and it works just as well as the stock fishing pole, haha.
