Well, I didn't trust it either but the snow performance kit makes it a little more reliable. If the unit senses any fluctuation in flow pressure +-5%, it dumps to wastegate. Plus, like I said tuning your car down to about 27-28psi allows you to tune the ecu in a more conservative fashion. The problem is without boost you have no torque, and no torque sucks on 93oct...

After I get my double pumper from buschur. I'm going to get a race tune done & call it a wrap ! Warrtalon, I'm going to try to be the first Evo in dc metro area to run 10s !!

Thank you Brad @ ISP for not blowing up my motor and Mike @ AMS (MD) for helping out with the tune!
The thing has 524 awhp and I still hate the wheels.

^ I think a good example would be smog runner. 589 whp on stock ecu, stock manifold/tb. Much better for DD.

Wait was this on the stock MAF sensor? I thought you couldn't make over 550awhp on the stock maf sensor without cutting out. Also the fuel pump would be another issue...?

Yes that was made on the stock AMF, as he said he made it with stock intake manifold, stock ecu, and stock head minus cams.

I guesstimate that I will make close to 600whp on the stock ecu, I am running 280's compaired to smoggies 272's, the only other differences is that he was running a different turbo setup.

600 whp can be done on the stock maf.

There is no .58 or .70 hotside options for the Gt35R AFAIK.

There is the common .63 or . 82 A/R hotside, and almost all 35R's come with the .70A/R coldside.

Actually the wheels do look much better in person Congrats on the build and numbers, I guess Brad can tune a car afterall Actually he is the one who tuned my GVR-4 (11.20@126.54 3 years ago). Its good to see this thread is mostly back on track but I did want to note that VIP really does a great job on my car. I am very picky about my race car and they dont dissapoint. And no they are not a jiffy lube for me, They do so much I dont know where to start but the easiest way is to say that AMS Chicago does the engine tuning and provides parts and overall support. VIP does all the work on my car from suspension mods and tuning, to trans and clutch work, to racing mods to keep my car competetive with the big boys. They have even come to a few races to support me as my crew. Plain and simple, if they didnt do a great job, I wouldnt use them or have their name on my car. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.
