Clean Out Your Cabin Air Filters!!! (Pics Inside)
MitsubishiParts.net sells the cabin air filter (MR398288) for $35.69, air filter (MZ690193) for $14.06, and shipping for $9.95 = $59.70. I think that's a pretty good deal for genuine parts, which I doubt JoeTLC.com is offering.
I have the joetlc part. I would have to say its equal to or better than the stock cabin filter.
Me too, Im at 44,000 in about two years and never changed the cabin filter, the stinky air was a good clue. I know Im very ashamed! But trust, all the drivetrain fluids are up to date!
I just replaced mine as well as my air filter 2 days ago because of this thread. My car has 15k miles on it and it looked exactly like the OP's cabin filter and I didnt know my Evo had a cabin filter. I got my cabin filter from Russell at Mitsuparts.net as well as couple other thing but I paid $39.70 for the filter. I guess you learn something new every day
