My 2000 Evo 6 GSR
Here is some pictures & build up of my Evo 6 GSR that I bought back in November 2007 from a friend.
When I bought the car it was fairly standard apart from an Exedy Clutch, Motec M800 Pro, ARP Rod Bolts, HKS Boost Gauge & Evo 400 Evo 9 Turbo

After a mapping session to have the Evo 9 Turbo fully mapped I ended up with a few problems. Exedy Clutch gave up, so I put in a HKS Pro Twin plate (That then died after 2000k miles, got an Exedy Twin plate in now) & then the piston rings went after what I think was poor mapping due to running rich in low revs & then lean top end.
With the rings gone I decided to get a 2.3 Stroker put into the car from Extreme Motorsport with a similar spec to there UK 2008 Time Attack Car.

After the engine in & a quick run in the car was mapped at 2 bar of boost & made 400 bhp & 440 l/b at the fly. The car was restricted with std injectors, std intercooler & std exhaust. Since then I have put a 3" turbo back system.

Standard 5 Speed Box
AYC Rear Diff (But unplugged & to be replaced with RS Diff)
Wheels & Brakes:
Standard Brembo 4 Pots on Front & Brembo 2 Pots on Rear
3G Discs & DS2500 Pads on Front & Back
Standard 17" OZ Super T's in Painted White with Hankook Track Tyres
Suspension:
Standard KYB Set-Up but do have Tien Flex Coilovers & EDFC Controller but waiting on new top mounts
Electronics:
Motec M800 Pro ECU
3 Bar Map Sensor - Got a 5 Bar Map Sensor to be fitted
Apexi AVCR
Exterior:
HID Conversion Kit
Carbon Vortec Generator
Carbon Exhaust Surround
Black Mud Flaps
The next things I am aiming to do to the car are 1000cc RC Injectors, Bigger Intercooler, Tien Coilovers (Once the top mounts are in stock), New 17" Compomotive Mo Wheels, RS Rear Diff, 5 Bar Map Sensor & 6 Pot AP's to fit under 17's. Once I have decided what turbo I am fitting I should be ready to slap it on & then go for the power.

One of the lenses got smashed from stones off the road, so when I bought new ones they only stocked them with a blue tint but they still shine white.
Blueprint, the Evo 9 turbo is a straight bolt to the 6 & I think most of the cars.
I havent had to change anything on the car to allow it to fit.
