Is Oct 4th the day you'll be testing the manifold?! I am very excite# to see the gains over the stocker with the full!

Unfortunately no...that will just be to tune the car on 93 oct...By the time the manifold is built then sent out to be coated then shipped to me, Ill probably get it a week after that. Then by the time I am able to get back to Chad's it will be another week after that. I plan on having the manifold on & tested on 93 oct. then a 110 oct. tune done and ready for the Showdown Event at Englishtown, NJ (Raceway Park) on Oct. 23rd....

A couple updates after putting 300 miles or so on the car...

Put new 02 sensor in and both of the 02 codes went away....

Fixed 2 small boost/vacuum leaks...

Swapping back from the 8 psi Tial BOV spring to the 11psi spring made my TPS code go away...it popped up twice while I had the 8 psi spring in there...

Car is running ridiculously rich at WOT...I haven't gone WOT many times at all but I guess because of how rich it is it still made my oil smell like gas...

I pulled the plugs last night and no oil on them so I am pretty sure its just blow by that made my oil smell like gas but not bad rings...I will be doing a compression test tomorrow after work anyway...

My idle a/f ratio is still all over the place...a/f will be normal for a minute or so then jump from 10.XX-17.XX....its pretty terrible...I have no idea why it is doing that...There should be no reason my idle a/f is like that just because of putting the Tial Q VTA bov on....or am I wrong? BOV does not open at idle....

My cruising a/f ratio is pretty good...car runs decent for needing a tune...power is still there...I haven't been driving the car much at all this week and don't plan on it till my tune with Chad @ CBRD on Monday....

So does anyone have any idea why my idle a/f ratio is so messed up?? The tune hasn't been touched since my fp red/ recirculated stock bov setup...I now have a BBK Full on the car with a Tial Q VTA bov and a JMF non-recirc intake...Fuel pump and injectors haven't been touched...Like I said before I fixed 2 small boos/vacuum leaks and installed a new front 02 sensor...I didn't think the Tial Q could affect my idle a/f since its not opening at all during idle...

Also Collin @ Toxicfab has sent me some updated pics of my manifold...he said he should have it sent out to TCC by monday at the latest to be coated...Definitely looking forward to testing this manifold for him...

I may have missed it, but are you running speed density? If not I'd go back to a recirc dv/bov.

Unfortunately I'm not running SD yet and I sold all my recirc stuff so going back to it really isn't an option...I plan to go SD this winter...I know my car wont drive as well on stock maf with vta as it would recirc but it should be close and I was willing to sacrifice that for a couple months till I get setup with SD...

great thread man! hope everything gets figured out soon! could it be the VTA BOV setup causing your issue, especially since it was tuned prior with out it.

Thanks man!! Honestly at this point I'm just gonna blame it on the bov...The SES hasn't come on for anything else since I put in the new 02 sensor & swapped bov springs...I just don't see how it could mess my idle a/f ratio up that much since the bov isn't opening or closing but what do I know??....haha...I guess well see what happens Monday when Chad works his magic...
