Nah...just repaint the fender and door for now...I have some good friends in Myrtle Beach, SC that own a restoration shop and have been in business for like 30 yrs & they do great work...They have done some stuff for me before. I already got a quote from him and I think I'm gonna head down there thanksgiving week and get it fixed...

 

God damn man. That's absolutely terrible. I just got my car out of the body shop today because some dumb *** backed into it. It's hard to find a good body shop. It's not 100% and it'll have to go back in a few weeks to get taken care if. Looks fine to the untrained eye, though.

Haven't made any updates since someone decided to scratch my fender & door with a knife....

November 18th-19th I am driving down to Myrtle Beach & having my buddy from college & his dad repaint & fix my fender & door. They have done some work for me before and its perfect. They own an auto restoration shop & have been in business for 35 yrs or so. They quote they gave me is half of any shops up here in New Jersey. It works out because my gf & I were heading to Aiken, SC for a wedding on the 20th anyway....If anyone is close to Myrtle Beach & looking to get any body or paint work done I highly suggest checking out J & C Auto Restoration.

Next....I ordered all my drivetrain fluids....Redline MT90 will be going in the tranny & Amsoil 75w-90 will be going in the transfer case and rear diff...This will probably be the last time I change the drivetrain fluids before my 5 spd swap over the winter...

I ordered a couple other minor things and will post pics later this weekend...

Hopefully be testing my Toxicfab manifold Friday with Petey @ Krazy House Customs!

Also I plan on going to CBRD on Saturday for their open house/dyno day...

Just read the entire thread. Great write up! I'm sorry to hear about some douche scratching up your car. Also I liked how your girl helped you out with painting some parts. Wish mine would do that!

 

Thanks man! Yeah pretty pissed about the scratch...hopefully karma will come back and kick them in the a$$...My girl is awesome! She did a great job on the calipers...I am definitely lucky!

 

FINALLY testing the manifold tomorrow with Petey @ Krazy House Customs...

Method for testing...

3 base pulls to get an average with my current tune & MAP ported stock manifold...

Depending on how busy KHC is I will either be pulling the car off the dyno and letting it cool down so I can swap manifolds or just swap manifolds on the dyno...

3 base pulls again to get an average with current tune and NEW Toxicfab Tubular Manifold...

Then let Petey work his magic and tune the car to see how much more power he can pull out of it...

Results will be given to Collin and he will be posting them in here first and then I will also post them in my build thread...

Update....finally purchased all my draintrain fluids....Redline MT90 for the transmission and Amsoil 75w-90 for the transfer case and rear diff... Also decided to pick up some Mynes Hood Dampers...

Correct...I started getting sick Thursday night/Friday morning and I was hoping it would just pass, well I woke up Saturday morning and felt like crap...no way I was driving 2hrs+ to CBRD...sucks...Definitely wanted to go...
