I still need one, lol. I've been back and forth trying to figure out if the 8 and 9 use the same oil filter housing.

May I asked what you used to take the old paint out?

I just sanded the hell out of the clear coat, then sanded the hell out of the red, then primed and painted

I'm talking to Tom right now from vrsf about the housing. I have the 4g64 block, so does that still use the evo 8/9 housing?

Hey Rock, noticed I didn't have an oil cooler on the evo for some reason or another. I saw a thread that you had posted in saying you had the STM Oil Cooler. I obviously need one but was wondering 2 things. Is it still cool to use with the FP Oil line kit that goes from the oil filter housing? I would think it would cause oil starvation having to flow through the cooler and the line straight from the housing. Also, how do you like it?

and before somebody says something yes you can run without a oil cooler. I choose not to again for extra security almost like the whole use a fluidampr or not on built motors. So do it anyway you please for sure. When are we going to see the magical compression and leakdown test. I assume all thats left is waiting for all the stm parts then it will get done??

haha, I got the rest of my parts in yesterday night but I still have to wait for my oil filter housing. I couldn't wait for Justin any more so I had to get one from another guy. It should be here early next week so hopefully we'll get somewhere. This is driving me fckn crazy. I just want to drive her again.
