an evo without a wing is like the pope without his bible. it just goes with the damn car. LEAVE THE EVO AS IS! dont try to rice it up as it has been in 2 fast 2 furious. just leave it alone!

Yep. measerable, probably not. And if it's used on the street, especially in the rain on near bald tires, The wing might be useful in keeping the rear behind you on the highway.

 

A guy that bought a white evo at my dealership had the take off the spoiler and fill the holes. The mechanics that did the work told me that they didn't want to do it but had to. Yeah I agree the spoiler belongs on the car, but its their car. As long as nobody touches mine it's all good!

 

I think it's better then not to have one then having the small one. Not saying the small one sucks or looks gay but yea..But i also think they should just keep the big one on!! If you take it away you takin the rally look and like the "*** or dick of it" heh..

I was wondering if mitsubishi offered a wing-less trunk lid without mounting holes for the evo VIII? Will a standard lancer trunk lid fit? Any suggestions?

 

Standard will fit, and they are available from the dealership. Unfortunately, they are somewhat expensive - a few hundred bucks raw (i.e not painted). I'd recommend hitting some of the salvage yards instead.
