I took mine off. I like the look also, alot cleaner to me. I just need to get the wholes filled. I have an odd question.
Have you noticed if it feels less stable at high speeds??? I know they said that it prodes down force but it looks like it is set almost flat. The EVO VII was adjustable though!!!

I love my rear wing, but Mitsubishi should offer a slightly lower-profile wing, maybe like the one on the R33 Skyline GTR. Something more pronounced than the Lancer wing but not as 'pull me over' as the CF wing.

Some guy stopped me at the gas station today and asked me where my wing was. He could not believe that I had an EVO with no wing(just doesnt make sence to some people).
I was going about 120 yesterday(on my private track of course) and noticed no diference in handling or performance at that speed. Has anyone gone faster without the wing. If so what were your driving impressions.
Thanks

Did you used to have a wing? If not, how are you able to compare? or if yes, how many times did you take it up to 120 to get a good feel for that speed ??

When I had the wing on the car I went over 145 once. Dont really remember to much about it though(this summer). It did not feel bad though. I have had the wing off for a week now, and when I went over 120 it felt fine. No difference that I noticed.
I let someone borrow my digital camera, when I get it back I will put some pics up here.

Question Wing Selection

Hi guys,

I am going to buy a blue-by-you evo in the next couple days. I am gonna get the roof. Now I am pinned down with the wing selection. I personally dislike the CF wing, and prefer the low profile wing. However, I feel that if I don't get the CF wing, the car is a bit de-spirited. I need your opinion and comments on this issue, especially from the low-profile wing owners. Thanks in advance.

If this issue had been posted before, please pardon me. I tried to do search with no luck. TIA.

The no wing look is pretty different but the small wing looks a little funny, but then anything different than the big one is going to take some getting used to!

If you want to be different and want your payments $480 less, you could try to get the low profile wing. But it will look like a regular Lancer OZ or get the carbon fiber wing and be happy with your Evo. If you're not satisfied with your CF wing, you could sell it here and also get a low profile wing. There's a lot of Lancer owners here willing to swap the cf wing with their low profile wing with some cash and they have the same fitment. I hope this helps you decide. As for me, I love my cf wing. It will be on my Evo as long as I owned her.

I was thinking that I don't wanna attract and be bugged by those who see the high wing (especially when I am driving in Alhambra/Monterey Park/San Gabriel Area ).

Then a friend really opened my mind. She said that: "So, does it mean that you should not date a beautiful girl just because she's gonna attract the attentions of jealous guys?"

She rocks!
