just wondering if an evo trunk would fit on a lancer. i have measured every corner and cant find any differences. please let me know if there is a difference because i found a carbon fiber trunk for $519.99 shipped but it is for a lancer not evo. if not the same please advise on good carbon fiber trunks for the evo, mine was distroyed!!

someone did this a LONG time ago... I think last summer. Anyway, someone put an evo trunk on their normal lancer. not to flame you, but try searching for it......

i think the only difference between the cerious and tunnerracing cf trunks is that CP's trunk is made by VIS and TR's trunk is made by JSP. aslo, adamn correct me if im wrong doesnt the jsp trunk come with a keyhole? at least coronalancers did. im not sure if they all do.

 

If you tell them when you order it that you don't want the keyhole, then it will not be put it there. That is why I had 2 CF trunks, the first one had a keyhole and I told them I didn't want it so they sent me a new one without it. Just have to specify when ordering.

Better now that I've tweaked with it alittle....I had taken out one of the torsion bars that lifts the trunk open because with both in the trunk flys open really fast but I came to realize that it messes with the trunk alignment by just taking out one of the bars so you have to remove BOTH of the torsion bars and the trunk aligns pretty good after that
