Interesting~! Are you the only one who swapped pads and the problem stopped? If so, I guess the solution would be aftermarket pads!

Im not crying.... yet. Haha, it didnt fit that bad, you know how my brother magnifies small problems. Although, some things could have been done better.. for instance, the clamps for the silicone the turbo/intake pipe were like 3" clamps, well oversized. But thats hardly a problem. Other than that, the plate the MAF screwed into didnt fit perfectly (not bad). However, biggest complaint was the screws they provided were so short you could barely put the nuts on them. (Funny thing is they provided crush washers! Which obviously no way in hell coudl fit on there). Overall it wasnt bad. I'm still going to get the Helix IC piping and exhaust!

Hows your car? I saw it parked at KS Fitness a week ago or so, I am joining that gym!

I just changed my pads about 2 oil changes ago to the Ferrodo DS2500's. Mine like to squeal in cold weather too. Before I had the Project Mu's installed by the dealer and they didn't put the fiber shims on. They only used the metal shims which I reinstalled with the Ferrodo's. I'm also trying to get ahold of the anti-squeal compound that Mitsu uses on the pads from the factory. Anyone know the part number for both the fiber shims and the grease?
Thanks

My brakes squeal once in a while. Have the shims, backing plates of the pads lubricated with hi-temp grease, these might help.

I just bought some Permatex anti-seize compound and I also just ordered the shim set from Mitsu. They are really pricey and I am not sure if they come with the fiber shims. It's like $30 for the whole car.

I just put my new shims on along with some Permatex anti-seize grease. The Autozone over here didn't carry the 1800*F line, so I used the 1600*F one. I cleaned up the calipers really good with some soap and water and greased up the pads. So far no more squeal whereas before every time I touched the brakes they were screaming.
