RobiSpec Springs
I actually received a tracking # last night for the springs. It was in my junk mail. It has left their shop and headed my way. So far this seller has been true to his word. Once I get it, I will post additional pictures
Yes, I got this as well. I will goggle to understand what the difference in rate between free length and ride height means etc...
The difference in rate is between compressed and uncompressed.
The compressed rate is the true ride spring rate of the springs, whereas the uncompressed rate is the "progressive" rate of the springs. When valving dampers to match a set of springs, you want to only look at the compressed ride rate.

I am no expert, but if you want to get drag - I would suggest some serious coilovers with high spring rates to keep the weight transfer from front to rear as minimal as possible during launch etc. I would ask AMS, ETS, English Racing etc as to what they would suggest for a drag application.
Im looking for better handling but at the same time I dont want to hurt my 60ft times. Thats why Im interested in these. I want to make sure it will keep my 60ft times the same as my stock springs or possibly help. I just dont want to make it worse.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Stock: F: 200, R: 270. 0 drop.
Robi lists 20% higher front rate and near stock rear rate.
~240 lb/in F and 270-290 rear rate. He does it a little different than Swift and GTWorx.
I would contact Robi directly to be sure.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a suspension expert, just know enough and search on here lots and come to conclusions. So, don't want to upset the experts:
Danno - Here is the deal. You know those bilstein struts that Evo 8/9 MR's come with? They can be re-built. The stock GSR KYB cannot. Bilstein charges about $70 a piece to re-valve and can match it to the spring. So, you get a spring and strut that is absolutely compatible.
For people with tiny wallets (such as myself) or people who just want a car that handles better and lowered some - this is a better option that chinabay coilovers. Also, I am not a track fiend and cannot afford to be.
One time Robi said over the phone, people with his budget suspension setup (springs, rear swaybar, bump steer kit and alignment) with some good tires and driving can lap an Evo faster than your basic coilovers that people spend money buying and installing. Coilovers are great, but they need to be tweaked and set up to really shine.
Search and you can read a lot more posts.
