I have tracked the hell out of my car with the RobiSpec springs and MR Bilsteins. They perform fantastically both on and off the track. The only thing I would add to the combo is a bigger rear sway bar. I am using the Perrin and feel it is a perfect match for the combo.

As for drag racing.... I was able to pull consistent 1.6 short times with this suspension and street tires.

The main concern some people have is the rake. Robi maintains the factory rake where the front has a tad more gap than the rear. I think it looks better than the others as they tend to look like lip scrapers.

Jeff - Thanks for replies to PM and posting here. I am glad I got the robispecs and bilsteins purchased this week. I plan on the perrin rear bar as well.

So whats the news, have your springs come in yet? I'm really curious to know if they are legit.

Whoa - chill bro, chill.

Yep, they came in today per tracking information provided. Fedex had left them at the door. After dinner, I took pics of the unwrapping - like an Apple Fanboie just for y'all...

Sturdy box and unmarked - no robi logos etc!

Opened it up to see a sea of brown paper...

Took all the paper out to discover orange-ness:

Robispec lettering on rear springs...

Robispec lettering on front springs:

To me, this means they are legit. I mean someone could go get stock springs, powdercoat them orange and put the robispec logos on them, I suppose.

There is no other way to tell these are the real deal unless Robi jumps in, but I am yet to hear back from him.

I hope this helps everyone!

So, I had Pm'd user Jeff Jeske who had run these springs and he sent me pics for verification. I counted the # of coils and seems the same. Color seems the same. So, I don't know what else I can do to verify this.

Here is a ride height pic:

I would think you would want to put these springs on the stock struts to feel the difference then swap to the bilstiens. Thats the way I would do it.

I suppose, but the bilstein is a superior strut, so why bother wasting time, ya know? Just the way I think, I guess

It is nice to do things one at a time however why go through the hassle and cost of doing the swap and alignment twice?

I bought these springs from robi a couple of months ago however the car was then stored so it hasnt even been aligned yet. Mine are riding on the bilsteins and a set of camber plates will be thrown into the mix. I am interested to hear what you think of the springs when you get them on.

I asked Smikey about camber plates and he said no need. Also I remember Robi said adding camber plates reduces suspension height (as in adding plates make them taller and close to stock height) or something? Maybe it depends on the type of camber plates - What kind are you running?

Well some plates are thicker than other but generally they will raise the car up a little bit. I am fine with this as I am not a fan of a car that scrapes everywhere hence one of the reasons that I went with the Robispec springs.

I just recently bought a set of cusco camber plates so we shall see how they work out. Last alignment I was limited to about 1.9 negative camber so id imagine I will be able to get close to another degree with the plates.

This is going to be a silly question I know, but is it required to perform an alignment after installing springs such as the robispecs?
