Just ordered these! I was looking for something with ~1" drop and not crazy raked. I'm excited to find this thread at those prices. Going to put them on some Bilstein MR's and return to street duty. Thanks for the heads-up!
I ultimately ordered the Robispec listed in the OP based on price+reputation+specs. I hope I am happy with these as a street spring. The swifts are a little raked for my taste, although price played a factor also.
Thanks again, I'll be sure to post pics.

they sold out and have been relisted. i bought the second to last set then later the last one sold. now there are another 5.... hmm
i wont be installing these till june thou. i hope for the best

Which way is up on Robispec progressive springs?
I read this over at socal:

I just installed a set of ROBISpec spring over the weekend, and I did the same thing. I used the label on the spring to determine the direction.
I also check the springs for how they fit in the spring seat. The fronts did not appear to matter each way, however I put the tight coil at the top. The rears are the other way.
Fronts: Tight Coil Up Top
Rears: Tight Coil on Bottom
Dont know if it is correct but that is how I installed mine.

Anyway, this makes sense to me, as I think they would label the springs so they could be read right-side up for advertising.
.
Any thoughts? Tight coil up on front and down on rears?
This picture from post #38 seems to support that.

I'm ready to rent a spring compressor and go to town, so input is appreciated.

Thats how they trick you into buying them faster. They say they have 5 left and people buy them but what you dont know is they actually have more to list. Just a sales tactic.
Just bought a set for $120 from this seller!
I'm not sure how they can sell these so cheap and with free shipping! Any feedback from someone who's used them on the track? I'm hoping this deal isn't too good to be true.

I spoke with Robi on the phone regarding the orientation of the springs. The rear should be set up as the pictures suggests with the tight coils on the bottom. As for the fronts IIRC the label was flipped. I am not positive and unfortunately dont have a wheel off to confirm at the moment. Your best bet is to contact Robispec at (760) 912-4337.

Ultimately it shouldn't matter, but I think I'm going to follow your MNRC recommendation there.
Honestly I am pretty sure that the tight coils are on the bottom for the front also. If that flips the label then I am even more confident. Just give Robert Fuller a call and he will be more than happy to help you out.
In light of that, I really don't think a phone call is going to be needed. All the progressive springs I have seen have had the tight coil on the bottom also....

Bilsteins and proper springs are not to scoff at.
