Finally installed mine. I have the non Bilstien struts. The ride is actually about the same as stock. I thought it would be bumpier. I also thought I wouldnt notice a difference in cornering and maybe would only notice in lap times. I thought wrong again. I could definitely feel a difference in the corners. Feels more planted and stable. Its not night and day but it is noticeable. I'm very happy with these. Price was great also. Great mod. Oh and yes these springs are heavier than stock. The rears are about the same but the fronts are maybe 1 lb heavier. Didn't weigh them to be sure but you could feel the deference just by holding them side by side. Got it aligned and have -1 degree camber for the front.

^^^ I installed mine Sunday. I second everything wizzo said. I did weigh the Robi springs and the fronts are 1 pound heavier than stock and the rears are 1/2 a pound heavier.

Hey, I am installing these now, and I was wondering what the final word on what I tell Bilstein to revalve my MR struts to.

There are two sets of numbers, so I just wanted to confirm or update.

Front rates initial rate free length to ride height = 190 lbs /”
After ride height = 360 lbs /“
Rear = 200 lbs /”
= 400 lbs /”

But SMIKE posted this, which matches robi's online blurb:
Stock: F: 200, R: 270. 0 drop.
Robi lists 20% higher front rate and near stock rear rate.
~240 lb/in F and 270-290 rear rate. He does it a little different than Swift and GTWorx.

So do I tell Bilstein 240 lb/in F and ~280 lb/in rear?

Will work with either KYB or Bilstein. Not specific like Swift. Work very well with Bilsteins.

I didn't want to brag when I got mine in March, but I got mine from them for $75 shipped. I love the Best Offer option.

Also, I wanted to update. So far so good. My struts look and ride good and I love these springs for DD. I haven't tracked the car yet, but when I do a legal 1st-3rd gear pull from a stop, it's a little bouncy. I guess that's normal. I don't recall what it was like with stock springs.

Not on that exactly. Suspension as mathematical as it is seems to be filled with lots of black magic voodoo knowledge.

I did confirm via some fragmented emails with Robi that the springs have to go in tight coils on the bottom, and that it makes a difference. I don't yet have a response as to what the difference is.

Bilstein actually installed the springs for me, and they told me it was not possible to install the springs that way because of the MR perch. I have not confirmed that yet, but I am going to try and flip the front springs as Robi instructed, and if they don't fit or do I will update here.

if people swear robispec lowering springs work so well with a new, from the factory, stock mr bilstein;
is it safe to tell bilstein that the revalve should match the factory.
