RobiSpec Springs
any update on the ride feel...is it better than oem springs + KYB's??? So far i noticed 3 people that have bought them...can we get before and after pics?? It sounds pretty tempting for that price.
Can't help you man.
I found out my used Bilsteins were blown the first time I drove my car to work on these. They were blown before they were mounted, not as a result of the springs, but that is the reason for the lack of review.
LRM1981 was a buyer and he did report that he liked them in my thread, here is a link to that review:

Bump for pics as well.
Can someone comment if the robi/bilstein is a better alternative to dd coilovers during winter? I'm tired of noise issues with my stance gr + pro co's.
I still have the stock suspension. What is retained when running the robi/bilstein combo?
Thanks for your time fellas!

I got my set already just haven't installed them yet. I just hope it doesn't affect my 60ft times in a bad way. If it stays the same then I'm cool with that. Anyone know if it will affect my 60ft or not?
Why would they affect your short times? For me, running the robispec springs, 1.6s were easy and that was with an all season tire.
My only complaint about springs is not being able to run enough camber to truly support aggressive tires. I get quite a bit of outer edge wear when running hoosiers or other sticky tire. For the price... you can't go wrong. I think I paid over 200 bones for them a few years ago.

There's really nothing wrong with the stock setup. In fact most stock suspension EVOs perform better than most el'cheapo coilover setups.
I've run everything from Ohlins to Megans as well as these Robispec springs and I'd say their performance is top notch. I consistently finish in the top five raw times at our autox events and on the road course there is little difference between my setup and those that have invested thousands of dollars.
As mentioned above the only downside is lack of camber which is a short coming of all aftermarket spring and strut combinations. I would not question their performance at all.

Yes Jeff they go into the hole occupied by the non-eccentric bolts.
I should clarify, they can replace either the bolts with the arrows to give you the ability to fine tune to your specs, or if you need more camber replace the non-eccentric bolts with these.
