Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2

So i'm looking to purchase some new tires and I've made up my mind on the Ventus V12s. Hankook has the Ventus V12 evo K110 and now the new Ventus V12 evo2 K120. Has anyone had the chance to test these new tires out? I can imagine they are better than the old model because new technology and so on. But ya never know. So i'm just curious if anyone has any input on either of the Hankook Ventus v12 models. I was also looking into the Nitto nt555s in a different size. (info at end of post). Or any other suggestions on a tire in that price range ($160ish) would be helpful. Thanks guys.

Also any opnions on this...
I can afford these sizes:
Ventus v12 - 245/40/18 (current size on car)
Nitto NT555 - 255/35/18

word of caution. i have the v12's on my daily driver, not in an evo size, but they have a very soft sidewall. pretty comfy, but i imagine it would kill the feel of an evo.

I can't afford to spend that this season lol. So i'm pretty much just looking for a good tire to buy for this season. I just had the KDWs 245/40/18 and they were pretty good tires. But i'm mainly looking for info on the old and new Ventus' and for input on the Nitto NT555s. The NT555 is pretty much the only tire i can afford in the 255/35 profile and i wanted to see what ppl had to say about the 255s vs the 245s. Would buying the Nittos in the 255s have more performance than say the Ventus V12s in a 245? Kinda confusing but i'm sure everyone will understand what i'm asking lol.. i hope

hmm thanks for the heads up! every time i get my mind set on a tire i always hear something that makes me rethink it lol. its hard searching for tires on a budget! Maybe the new model V12s have a stiffer sidewall. But there pretty new where i cant seem to find any reviews on them.

I had V12's and was very happy with them. Best bang for the buck tire.

The V12's and nt555 are both pretty meh tires. Nitto Invo's, BFGoodrich Gforce sport comp2's or michelin pss's are all much better tires.

If your willing to compromise onlinetires.com has the Direzza DZ101 in 245-40-18 for 109 a tire. Just picked up a set for Evo X Enkei, satisfied so far. The V12 has a soft side wall, comfortable but less than inspiring when speeding into those corners.
