S2k wheels on evo?

Hey guys, so i been makin some research about drag setup u can use while keeping my stock brembos, so decided to go with 16X7 rim. The issue was they would require spacers with 40mm offset. I looked into the rear wheels of s2k which r 16x7.5 +65. Has anyone ran these? Or ran into problems fitting these? Thanks

Very unlikely they would fit over the front Brembos no matter what spacer is used

I read that thread and concluded that u need about 60mm to clear the brakes. People always use 40 offset and 20mm spacers, what would be the difference if used 65mm offset?

running a spacer that large is probably not a great idea for a drag setup...go with tried-and-true rx7 wheels

s2k wheels? good lord no. look at your stock wheels, those are +38 offset with a HUGE amount of space behind the wheel spokes. a stock s2k wheel will sit about 1" inward on the BACK of the wheel, and the face of the wheel will be 1.5" inward from the stock evo wheels.

and absolutely no chance those will clear the brakes. in the rear the might clear with a 15mm spacer, maybe larger, but the front will need a 30mm spacer at least
