Would you say without the pill and not pushing the turbos limits you may run more reliable?

It's up to the tuner on how he/she would like to tune the car.

I unsersstand the tuner is going to feel more comfortable with one way or the other. And Im sure you guys do a great job tuning either way. I've had Mike tune a couple of my vehicles in the past and that guy is the best! Great customer service, and excellent tuning! But wouldnt your DD vehicle be more reliable without running the pill? Especially with our bad octane here in CA.

Again, it's up to the tuner to determine what the car likes boost wise. One of the advantages to the boost pill is adding much more area under the curve in the mid range and upper mid range than the stock pill can allow, with the ability to taper boost how you like up top.

If everything is tuned correctly, I don't see why it wouldn't be any less reliable than stock.

Personally from tuning boosted 4 cylinders for over a decade on California's finest 91 oct, I've found that 91 oct is much more sensitive to ignition timing then boost.

And that is the secret to tuning on low octane gas. If only other CA tuners followed the same methodology.

Any updates on the availability of the entire upgraded Evo X boost assembly (versus just the pill)?

Yes 3 port works fine. I tested the gruppe-s (PIERBURG) 3port on a 10 last weekend. Works great. The only thing you need to do on the 10 is shave off one part of the plug-play electrical connector for it to fit correctly

Will have more data soon...
